Robin: It's me again. Were you involved at all with a short-lived Broadway show called "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band On The Road," which ran on B'way in 1974? It was probably the first B'way show to utilize the Beatles' music (and appears to have been the partial inspiration for that most unfortunate movie years later), and it involved several members of HAIR's creative team, most notably Tom O'Horgan and Robin Wagner (another HAIR alumnus, Alaina Reed, was the show's leading lady).

dear robin,
this is marc cohen who stage managed and assisted tom o'horgan from lenny on and including sgt. pepper
believe me i got lots of fond memories
but now is now and it is time for all of us to get together and pay a special tribute to the genius of tom o'horgan
recently he turned 80
do you know there has never really been a tribute to his contribution to the theater world
isnt it about time that somehow we get him a lifetime achievement award from the tony organization
the amazing thing is starting tonite there is a special on pbs about the musical
and they completed overlook tom
no interview no commentary
is this absurd or what
all those people out there that had the fortune of working with this gifted and humble man know the truth
so what will it take to get a bunch of alumi together to do something to honor tom while he is still with us
with love
marc cohen

Hi Marc
What a wonderful idea, I couldn't agree more. Tom has been overlooked for far to long, his genius should be recognized.
Peace Robin
