Hi robin! Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts. Hold on to your convictions, keep them strong no matter what. Your insight on everything is right on the mark, and you say things others think (those that do think) and won't say. I did some 'protests' back in the 60's, starting in High School. I accomplished that one and had the dress code changed.. not a biggie, but important at the time. I was know as a 'mouth', and I'm still known as one. My husband has been telling me since '69 that I can't save the world. But I don't care as long as I'm fighting for the right. It's good to see that some of us are still around! I'll be contacting you soon. All my love and good thoughts go to you and yours.. Bette

Bette Thanks so much for your kind words, never stop giving up the right to protest if you believe in something passionately enough. Peace Robin

There's little I can add to Bette's message, except that I never got to participate in any protests ... much as I wanted to.
Robin, I agree with virtually everything you said in your "Convictions." The only parts where we may have differences are in the "family" remarks; but then, my family experiences are different from yours. (I'll spare you the details.)
I'm off now to look at the other messages.
