And just to think: Only a few months ago, I left a message on the Jeff Barry message board wondering whatever happened to that "one-hit wonder" Robin McNamara. I don't know if that started the ball rolling or what, but now all at once the one-hit wonder's communicating with us all! (And most eloquently.) Only on the Web.

Hi,
Your message on Jeff's board did indeed start the ball rolling, and I'll always be grateful to you. After you posted your message, I did a Net search for Robin, found an email address for him, and wrote to him introducing myself and also telling him that I'd heard him interviewed on my local radio station back in 2001. Since that initial contact, as you've seen, I interviewed him (along with my collaborator, Don "Stuffed Animal" Charles) and we put the resulting article online, and have continued to expand on Robin's pages via the "Hair Salon" and "My Convictions" pages. Probably none of this would've happened had you not posted your 'where is he now' query, so for that I THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart!
