If anyone could help that would be awesome. these are some old bubblegum tunes i found. i don't know the artists (or title)
one is maybe called "Underdog" - it goes, "you're a dog oyu're a dog you're an underdog, and that's how you're gonna stay"
another is the song "Mercy" (which i think has been done by 1910 or someone like that) but it's sung in another language, most likely french or italian
another is what i call "Ping Pong Ball". it goes "You're invited, to a ping pong ball at the Chinese Wombely(?) ping pong ball hall.
any and all help would be much much much appreciated!
thanks

Hi,
Thanks for your post ... I didn't know any of these songs, so I posted your question on my Yahoo group, Oldies and Bubblegum Music. Here's one response:
"Underdog" was the B-side of "Son of My Father," an early 1970s single by Giorgio - i.e., future super-producer Giorgio Moroder. Don't know about the others, though.

"Invitation To The Ping Pong Ball" was recorded by The Wombles (written by Mike Batt). It was on the 'Keep On Wombling' album in 1974.
The song "Mercy b/w Roll It Up" was recorded by The Ohio Express, in 1969 on the Buddah label. Maybe they recorded it in different languages for different markets.
Sorry, don't know the other song.
